Private Tennis CoachingYour English tennis coach heading the programme in Mallorca is Lee Wakefield, a qualified LTA Coach. For 13 years prior to moving to Mallorca, Lee was coaching at a number of clubs in the Hertfordshire and Middlesex areas, including Gosling Sports Park Indoor Tennis Centre in Welwyn Garden City and as head coach at Hoddesdon Lawn Tennis Club. He enjoyed working with all levels of players from beginners and juniors up to senior county level players. Lee began coaching in Mallorca in 2003 as head coach at Santa Ponsa Country Club, before working at Mallorca Tennis. As a player, Lee was the mens first team captain at all the above clubs. He played in the National League for singles and competed in the Hertforshire and Middlesex championship divisions for doubles. He won the Bedfordshire county doubles championship and was a Herts county doubles semi-finalist. He held the Hoddesdon LTC singles and doubles championship titles for 6 years before moving to Mallorca.
